Showcase of Environmental Education

in Howard County

 Sunday, March 18, 2:00 – 4:30 PM

Teens and children in Howard County are the next generation of learning and exploration in understanding the mysteries of the Earth, and how to protect, care for and sustainably use its precious resources for the common good now and in the future. This Forum will showcase the innovative and exciting learning happening in public and private schools, in faith communities and in environmental facilities and organizations here in Howard County.

PROGRAM

              1:30     Students and organizations set up display tables and projects

            2:00     Opening of the Forum

            2:05     Panel presentation on environmental education in Howard County including Howard County Public School System                                     Science Coordinators and county environmental organization education representatives.

            2:40     Recognition of teens participating in the Earth Forum, Office of Environmental Sustainability

            3:00     Showcase of teens and youth environmental organization displays and projects.
